Police Alert Community of Gunfire During Colonial Re-enactment

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Gloucester Township Police have issued a noise advisory due to a colonial re-enactment scheduled for this weekend at the Gabreil Daveis Tavern.

Residents in the Glendora Section and along Somerdale Road can expect to hear live cannon and musket fire from the event, which will take place on Saturday, April 13th, and Sunday, April 14th, starting at 9 AM. The Gloucester Township Historic & Scenic Preservation Committee is hosting the event, and authorities urge the public not to be alarmed by the loud noises associated with the re-enactment.
