Police arrest suspect in shooting of juvenile in Versailles Borough

VERSAILLES BOROUGH, PA – On January 16, 2022 at approximately 8:59 p.m., the Versailles Borough Police was dispatched to the 900 block of Center Street for a report of a shooting. First responders arrived on scene and determined that a shooting occurred at the location. It was learned that a juvenile male victim was transported to an area hospital by private vehicle. Versailles Borough Police then requested the investigative assistance of the Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit.

County Police determined 27-year-old Dondre Alexander Grisom of Versailles was the person responsible for the shooting. An arrest warrant was issued for Grisom charging him with aggravated assault, person not to possess a firearm and recklessly endangering another person. On January 20, 2022 at approximately 12:00 p.m., Grisom turned himself in at County Police headquarters. Grisom is currently lodged in the Allegheny County Jail.
