Police Arrest Suspect Who Kicked in Door of Woman’s Apartment

GLEN BURNIE, MD – A report of a burglary in progress led officers to the 300 block of Gatewater Court on Monday.

The victim reported a suspect, wearing a ski mask and black sweatshirt, kicked in her apartment door and fled the scene in a gray Infinity sedan.

Officers responded around 9:30 pm, located the suspect vehicle nearby and detained its occupants without incident.

The officers found evidence related to the burglary, suspected cocaine, a digital scale, clear Ziploc sandwich bags, $1200 in cash, and three cellular phones.

Corey Isaiah Abney, a 28-year-old resident of Owings Mills, Maryland, was subsequently arrested and charged in connection with the crime.
