Police Arrive to Find One Person Shot, Dead in Germantown Shooting

GERMANTOWN, PA – Police responding to a shooting call in Germantown arrived on scene to find one person shot dead, a 20-year-old male from Frederick, Friday night.

According to police, at approximately 10:50 p.m., officers responded to the 19500 block of Gunners Branch Road for a reported shooting in the area.

“Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers administered aid until Montgomery County Fire Rescue arrived, and he was pronounced deceased on the scene,” the Montgomery County Police Department said on Saturday.

The victim was identified as a 20-year-old male from Frederick, but the police did not release their name. At this time, there are no suspects in custody for this murder.

Currently, there is no suspect in custody. This is an active and ongoing homicide investigation.
