Police continue investigating after teen struck by car

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police – Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) is currently investigating a serious pedestrian collision that occurred on Tuesday. At around 8:53 pm, officers responded to a traffic collision at Wisteria Dr. and Great Seneca Hwy.

The preliminary investigation found that a 15-year-old male victim was struck by a black Acura TSX while crossing the roadway. The victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The reason for the collision is still under investigation. The teenage driver involved in the crash remained at the scene during the investigation.

Police are asking any witnesses to the crash to contact them.
