Police Continue Search For Gunman Who Shot Teen on New Year’s Eve in Staten Island

Staten Island, NY – In a harrowing New Year’s Day incident, an 18-year-old male was shot in the left arm in Staten Island. The shooting occurred inside 86 Logan Avenue at around 11:00 AM on Monday.

Authorities report that the assailant, who remains unidentified, brandished a firearm and opened fire, striking the victim. The gunman then fled the scene. The victim was subsequently taken to Richmond University Medical Center, where he is reported to be in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 5’8” tall, weighing around 160 pounds, and with black hair. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in apprehending the suspect.
