Police Continue Searching for Vandals Who Stormed Senegal Consulate in NYC

New York City Police Department dispatched to crime scene.

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying individuals involved in a burglary on Friday, August 4.

At approximately 3:40 pm, eleven unknown persons entered the Consulate General of Senegal located at 179 East 116 Street. Property was damaged before the suspects fled the scene.

Images of the suspects have been released and are available for public viewing. No injuries were reported during the incident.

The department is also looking for information on five additional persons in connection with the burglary.
