Police end pursuit of man who stole repossessed Lexus from Neark impound

NEWARK, NJ – Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé has recently announced that an arrest warrant has been issued for Eugene K. Ohemeng, 28, of New York.

Ohemeng is wanted for stealing his repossessed Lexus from an impound lot on Sunday.

Surveillance footage captured Ohemeng entering the impound lot of Commercial Service Corp., a repossession tow company at 16 Whitney Street, Newark.

The footage shows Ohemeng waiting in his vehicle until employees arrived to open the gate at 6:45 a.m., at which point he drove away at speed.
