Police Escort Man With Protection Order to Home, Where He Assaults Protected Individual

CAMBRIDGE, MD – On 10-28-23, around 4:10 pm, Cambridge Police Department (CPD) officers served a District Court-issued Protection Order on Zamar Wilson, 20, of Cambridge, MD. Subsequently, officers escorted Wilson to the residence of the protected individuals.

While at the residence, Wilson violated the order’s terms and assaulted one of the protected individuals, taking an item from them in the process. CPD officers arrested Wilson and took him in for processing.

After an appearance before a Court Commissioner, Wilson was released on his personal recognizance.
