Police Find Dog Treats Laced with Fish Hooks at Pennyslvania Park

Washington, PA – The Pennsylvania Game Commission alerted Appalachian Trail dog owners and hikers after dog treats filled with fishhooks were discovered close to George W. Outerbridge shelter over the weekend.

The incident, which happened near the North Trail Loop leading to the shelter in Washington Township, Lehigh County, could pose a severe threat to both wild and domestic animals. Any information or further discoveries should be reported immediately to 1-888-PGC-WILD or 1-888-PGC-HUNT.
