Police Find Fugitive Drug Dealer Hiding Inside Couch

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office announced the apprehension of Stacy Usher, a subject of a prior Wanted of the Week (WOW) notice. Deputies found Usher in a rather unusual hiding spot last night – inside her couch.

Usher had been sought for a violation of probation related to the sale of fentanyl and the unlawful use of a two-way communication device. Her arrest underscores the ongoing efforts of the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office to address and curb criminal activities related to drug offenses.

The successful location and apprehension of Usher demonstrate the diligence and resourcefulness of the deputies involved. It also highlights the challenges law enforcement officers face in locating and capturing individuals attempting to evade justice, sometimes in unconventional ways.
