Police Find Woman Dead In Her Home With Fatal Body Trauma in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – Police are investigating the homicide of Janelle Desormeaux, 40, found unresponsive in her home on Wednesday evening. Eastern District patrol officers responded to a distress call around 7:05 p.m. at the 2100 block of East Preston Street, where they discovered Desormeaux suffering from body trauma.

Medics declared her dead at the scene. Her body has been transferred to the Medical Examiner’s office to determine the exact cause of death.
