Police, Firefighters Comfort Dog After Its Humans Were Involved in Rollover Crash

YANTIC, CT – Members of the Yantic Fire Company #1 and the Connecticut State Police responded to a rollover crash on Route 2 near the Bozrah town line. Police reported all occupants were treated for minor injuries, including a dog that was in the car at the time of the crash. Police and firefighters cared for the dog while his human was getting care from the EMS crew on scene.

Connecticut State Police Deputy Chief Herz assessed the patient’s dog while EMS was caring for his human, the agency said.
