Police in D.C. Make Arrest in Shooting of Woman

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington D.C. Metro Police Department made an arrest in the shooting of a woman that took place on September 14th. This incident occurred on the 2300 Block of 16th Street in Southeast D.C.

According to investigators, “At approximately 11:20 pm, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of the sound of gunshots. Upon their arrival, they located an adult female victim, who was inside of her residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.”

On April 4th, 28 year-old Tony Curtis, of Southeast, D.C. was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
