Police Inevstigating After Two Found Dead with Gunshot Wounds to the Head, Gun Nearby

NEW YORK – New York City Police Department officers were summoned to 386 2nd Street in Brooklyn early on Thursday, January 25, around 1:08 AM, where two individuals were found unresponsive. The incident occurred within the confines of the 78th Precinct.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered a 34-year-old female and a 34-year-old male, both suffering from gunshot wounds to their heads. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to the scene and pronounced both individuals deceased.

A firearm was located near the deceased male, adding a complex dimension to the ongoing investigation. As of now, the identities of the deceased are not being released, pending notification of their families.
