Police Investigate Assault on North Main Street

WILKES-BARRE, PA – An assault incident is currently under investigation following a domestic dispute reported early Wednesday morning on North Main Street.

On August 1, at 2:24 AM, police responded to a call at a local residence where they met a 27-year-old female victim from Wilkes-Barre. She reported a verbal altercation with a male identified only as “J.” According to the victim, the confrontation escalated when “J” struck her once before fleeing the area.

Authorities are actively seeking the male suspect, whose age and further details remain unknown. The investigation into the incident continues.
