Police Investigate Burglary, Hate Crime in Severn

SEVERN, MD – Officers responded to a report of a burglary that took place in the 500 block of Upton Road in Severn on Thursday.

Between the evening of Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, the suspects broke into an equipment shed, stole items, damaged equipment, and defaced the walls with graffiti of a racially and sexually offensive nature.

The Western District detectives are currently investigating the incident and are asking for anyone with information to contact them or the Anne Arundel County Police Tip Line.
