HYATTSVILLE, MD – A 44-year-old man from Silver Spring, Kevin Jason Paul, was fatally shot on Thursday night, prompting an investigation by the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit.
At around 10:05 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of 52nd Avenue in Bladensburg. Upon arrival, they found Paul in a parking lot with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to determine a motive and identify suspects.
