Police investigate gunfire damage to vehicle in Laurel

LAUREL, Md. — Police are investigating after a vehicle was damaged by gunfire early Thursday morning in the Western District of Anne Arundel County.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 5:30 a.m. after the victim reported finding two bullet holes in his Ford F-150. Upon arrival, officers located two spent shell casings near the vehicle.

According to investigators, area residents reported hearing gunshots earlier in the morning, but no injuries were reported.

Authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the gunfire.
