ELIZABETH, NJ – A male victim was reportedly shot overnight inside a parking lot on Spring Street in Elizabeth. Police have not released any information regarding the shooting at this time.
No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been announced.
Witnesses reported gunfire shortly before 3 am early Sunday morning.
The male victim is expected to survive.
Correction: A recent article stated the shooting happened at the Motel 6 Parking. Based off a preliminary report that was incorrect. No hotel guests were involved in the incident and it was not on hotel property.
