Police Investigate Shooting in Chesapeake

Chesapeake, VA – The Chesapeake Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident resulting in one injury.

On Friday at approximately 5:53 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Jackson Avenue. They discovered an adult male with a gunshot wound at the scene.

The injured man was transported to a nearby hospital where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
