QUEENS, NY – An early morning shooting on Friday left a 52-year-old man injured. The incident occurred on Beach Channel Drive near Amstel Boulevard in Far Rockaway at around 9:40 a.m. The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries after being shot twice in the left leg.
The suspect, described as wearing a soft cast on his left foot and a navy blue sweatsuit, is currently at large. He was last seen heading south on Beach Channel Drive.
