Police investigate shooting incident in Severn; no injuries reported

SEVERN, MD — Authorities are investigating a shooting in Severn where a single bullet was fired into a home on Parham Court, causing property damage but no injuries.

The incident occurred on December 28, 2024, at approximately 6:20 p.m. A round was shot through the window of an upstairs bedroom and lodged in the ceiling, police said.

Responding officers searched the area but were unable to locate any suspects. The motive for the shooting remains unclear, and no further incidents have been reported in the neighborhood.
