Police Investigate Shooting near Rosa Parks Boulevard and Lyon Street in Paterson

PATERSON, NEW JERSEY – Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Bert Ribeiro announced that a shooting took place in the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Lyon Street in Paterson, New Jersey, on March 14.

At approximately 7:51 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department were informed that a 28-year-old male Paterson resident arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound. Preliminary information suggests the victim was shot in the mentioned area, where a potential crime scene has been located.
