BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Police are investigating two separate incidents that occurred within 35 minutes on the G train in Brooklyn on Saturday, May 31, involving a man who allegedly approached and attempted to kiss female passengers.
In the first reported incident, at approximately 7:10 a.m., a 17-year-old girl was riding a northbound G train near Prospect Park Station when a man grabbed her face and kissed her on the forehead and cheek. The suspect then exited the train and fled to an unknown location, police said.
Roughly 35 minutes later, a 29-year-old woman on the same train line near the 7 Avenue Station reported that a man put his arm around her shoulder and attempted to kiss her before also fleeing the train.
No physical injuries were reported in either incident, and both cases remain under investigation by Transit District 30 and the NYPD’s Special Victims Division.
Suspect description released in G train assaults
Authorities believe the same individual may be connected to both incidents due to their similar nature and timing. Police described the man as having a dark complexion, between 30 and 35 years old. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt under a black jacket and was carrying a blue garbage bag.

Officers are reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses to identify the suspect and determine if additional incidents have occurred.
As of Sunday, no arrests have been made.
