Police Investigating $43,000 Copper Theft at Philadelphia Job Site

PHILADELPHIA, PA – On September 10, at around 3:45 am, two unidentified males stole copper wire and copper pipes from a construction site on the 400 block of Spring Garden Street.

The stolen items are valued at approximately $43,000.

The suspects were seen driving an older, dark-colored, 4-door Ford F150 with a ladder rack. Plastic or lexan was taped in place of three of the four windows.

Both suspects are described as black males with beards, wearing dark clothing.

The Central Detective Division is handling the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the division.
