Police investigating a stabbing along Brick Township bike trail

BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ – One person was stabbed along the Cherry Quay bike trail in Brick Township on Friday. Police at this time believe the incident was isolated and that no threat exists to the public.

“Police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred in the Cherry Quay bike trail entrance. This is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no reason to believe that there is any danger to the public,” the department said.

The BPD did not release any further information regarding the incident. No suspects were identified and no arrests were reported.
