MCKEESPORT, PA — The Homicide Unit of the Allegheny County Police Department is conducting an investigation into a double fatal shooting in McKeesport. The incident was reported following a welfare check request in the 400 block of 27th Street.
Upon arrival at approximately 5:20 PM, first responders discovered an adult male and female deceased in a residence, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
While the specifics leading to the shooting are still under investigation, homicide detectives believe the incident was isolated, with no further threat to the community. The investigation by the Homicide Unit is ongoing.
