STOWE TOWNSHIP, PA – A man was rushed to the hospital after being shot in the foot on Saturday, police here have reported. The Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations Unit responded to a request for assistance in Stowe Township and is handling the investigation.
At this time, police have not released information regarding how the shooting transpired.
According to police, “at approximately 7:50 PM on Saturday, County 9-1-1 was notified of a shooting in the 700 block of Overlook Place.”
The Allegheny County Police Department said, “First responders found an adult male with a gunshot wound to the foot. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive. ACPD detectives are initiating the investigation.”
No suspects have been identified at this time.
