Police investigating after woman shot at inside car in Columbia

COLUMBIA, MD – A woman called 911 after allegedly being shot at by a passing car while sitting inside her car on the 6300 block of Bright Plume. Police said the shooting took place on Saturday at around 6:30 pm.

Officers responded to a shots fired call. Upon the officers’ arrival, a woman said she was shot at by a passing car. Police found no evidence of property damage, and the woman was not injured.

No suspects have been identified, and no arrests have been made. At this time, police are still continuing their investigation.
