Police investigating armed robbery, assault inside Forest Hills subway station

NEW YORK, NY – A shocking armed robbery took place at the 71 Avenue Forest Hills train station within the 112 Precinct and Transit District 20, involving a 17-year-old male victim. The NYPD is now requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the three suspects involved in this violent crime.

On Friday, at around 5:45 PM, the victim was inside the train station when he was approached by three unknown males. The suspects displayed the handle of a firearm before punching and kicking the victim multiple times in the face and body. They then forcibly removed the victim’s sneakers and fled on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the brutal attack.

The NYPD has released photos of the three suspects and is urging anyone with information to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline. Identifying and apprehending these individuals is crucial in ensuring the safety of the public and deterring future criminal activity within the city’s transit system.
