Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Walmart

DOVER, DE – The Delaware State Police are actively seeking assistance to identify a suspect involved in a robbery at a Dover Walmart. The incident occurred on the evening of Monday, at the Walmart on 36 Jerome Drive.

Around 8:11 p.m., troopers were dispatched to the scene following a robbery report. The suspect, described as an older black male of average build, approached the Money Services desk and demanded cash while implying possession of a firearm.

The employee complied, and the suspect fled with an undisclosed sum in a silver Nissan Altima, which has noticeable damage on the right rear passenger side and an unknown temporary registration.

The suspect was last seen wearing a green jacket, black knit hat, grey Under Armour hoodie, blue jeans, white sneakers, and a surgical mask. Despite immediate response, the troopers could not locate the suspect or the vehicle.

The Delaware State Police ask anyone with information to come forward and assist in this ongoing investigation.
