Police investigating armed robbery in Greenbelt

GREENBELT, MD – Police in Greenbelt were dispatched to a 7-11 convenience store situated in the 7900 block of Good Luck Rd on Sunday, following reports of a commercial armed robbery. The incident occurred around 10:40 pm.

According to preliminary reports, a suspect who was captured on surveillance footage entered the 7-11 brandishing a black handgun. The suspect pointed the gun at the store’s employees, coercing them to hand over money.

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the store.
