Police investigating assault and robbery at Glen Burnie tobacco store

GLEN BURNIE, MD – On Sunday, at approximately 9:45 a.m., officers responded to a hold-up alarm at the AAA Tobacco store located at 30 East Ordinance Road in Glen Burnie. The victim reported that a male suspect armed with a handgun entered the store and demanded money.

During the encounter, the suspect struck the victim with the butt of the pistol grip, causing injury. The victim complied and handed over an undetermined amount of US currency, after which the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male, last seen wearing a navy-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, dark shoes, a dark face covering, carrying a gray backpack, and armed with a handgun.
