Police Investigating Assault in Sheepshead Bay

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying an individual in connection to an assault that occurred on Saturday, July 22.

The incident, which took place around 5:46 am in the Sheepshead Bay area, involved the unknown individual striking a 31-year-old victim multiple times in front of 1420 Sheepshead Bay Road.

The suspect, who is male with a light complexion and black hair and facial hair, fled the scene in a white sedan following the attack.

The victim, who suffered minor injuries, was treated on site by EMS.

The department is asking anyone with information to reach out via their Crime Stoppers Hotline or online portal.
