Police Investigating Burglary at Newton Street School

NEWARK, NJ – On Thursday, at around 4 am, a burglary took place at Newton Street School, Newark.

The incident prompted a call for public assistance from Newark Public Safety Director, Fritz Fragé.

The suspect, a bearded Black male, was caught on surveillance footage entering the school through an unlocked window and stealing several items which he then put into a shopping cart.

He was seen wearing a grey hoodie with the NY Giants logo on the sleeve, a green-colored shirt, a dark Nike hat, and dark sneakers.
