POCONO MANOR, PA – The Pocono Township Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision on SR0314 between Summit Road and Swiftwater Avenue at approximately 6:44 am, Monday.
A 56-year-old female passenger from Pocono Summit, in a black 2010 Kia Soul, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The drivers of both the Kia Soul and a black 2005 Chevrolet Colorado were transported to hospitals with moderate injuries.
The accident resulted in the temporary closure of the roadway for investigation and cleanup, which has since been reopened.
The Pocono Township Police Department, assisted by several local agencies, continues to investigate the incident.
