POTOMAC, MD – A vehicle collision occurred on Saturday, claiming the life of a Virginia man.
Preliminary findings indicate that around 6:26 p.m., Byron Jennings, 60, of Lynchburg, VA, experienced a medical emergency while driving a 2012 Kia Sorento westbound on Democracy Blvd near Newbridge Drive.
This caused the vehicle to veer off the road, leading a 2015 BMW to also collide with the curb and depart from the road.
The BMW driver sustained non-serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
Jennings was pronounced dead after being transported to a hospital.
