BROOKLYN, NY – Police were called to the scene of a shooting inside 1890 Eastern Parkway early Saturday morning, where a 31-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to his torso.
The NYPD arrived at approximately 3:25 am, upon receiving a 911 distress call.
The victim was taken by EMS to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. As of now, no arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is pending appropriate family notification.
The NYPD asked any witnesses or those with knowledge of the incident to cooperate with the investigation.
