NORTH NAPLES, FL – The Collier County Sheriff’s Office was pulled away from storm management and recovery duties to respond to a fatal shooting outside a lounge Saturday night in North Naples.
According to police, the incident happened at around 10:30 pm at the Cavo Lounge at 9108 Strada Place in The Mercato.
“The suspect and victim were involved in a physical altercation inside the establishment prior to the shooting,” the Collier County Sheriff’s Office said today. “The suspect fled on foot.”
The victim was transported to a hospital, where he later died.
The CCSO did not release any further information regarding the shooting.
