ROCHESTER, NY – Early Monday morning around 1:30 AM, an overnight shooting at Portland Avenue and Norton Street resulted in two injured city residents.
The victims, a 33-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, were privately transported to the hospital.
Police were alerted and dispatched to the scene around the time of the hospital transport.
The current conditions of the victims indicate expected survival from their injuries. Investigations regarding the incident are ongoing.
Information related to possible suspects or motive is yet to be released by the Rochester Police Department.
