Police investigating groping incident in Jackson Heghts

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance to identify an individual connected to a forcible touching incident in Queens.

The incident took place on Saturday, May 27 at about 9:45 pm.

A 36-year-old female victim was descending the staircase from the southbound ‘7’ platform of the 82 Street-Jackson Heights elevated train station when an unidentified individual approached her and touched her leg and genital area.

The individual then fled from the station in an unknown direction. The victim did not report any physical injuries resulting from this incident.
