Police Investigating Murder of 67-Year-Old in Bladensburg

BLADENSBURG, MD – A 67-year-old man, Randolph Stoddard, Jr. was shot and killed Wednesday night in Bladensburg at around 12:30 pm, according to police.

At around 12:30 pm, patrol officers were called to the 5300 block of Quincy Place for a welfare check.  They discovered the victim inside an apartment suffering from trauma to the body. He was pronounced dead on the scene. 

Detectives are actively working to identify suspects and a motive, but so far none have been found. The killer remains at large.
