Police Investigating Overnight Shooting in Penn Hills

PENN HILLS, PA – A man was shot overnight on McFarlane Drive in Penn Hills at around 9:45 pm. The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to a request for assistance there.

“At approximately 9:45 pm on April 26, 2022, County 9-1-1 was notified of a shooting in the 700 block of McFarlane Drive. First responders located a house that had been shot and then were notified that an adult male victim was transported to an area hospital by private vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds,” the department said. “The victim is currently listed in stable condition. Homicide detectives initiated an investigation.”
