Police investigating serious crash in Linden

LINDEN, NJ – Officers from the Linden Police Department responded to a single-car crash on Sunday, at around 7:15 pm. The incident took place near W. Edgar Rd (Route 1) & S. Stiles St.

The driver, a 57-year-old man from the Colonia section of Woodbridge, was operating a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu when he crashed.

The impact caused the vehicle to overturn, requiring the driver to be extricated by Linden Fire Department personnel. The driver was transported to Newark University Hospital with severe injuries but is now listed in stable condition.
