HOWARD COUNTY, MD – Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle crash on Route 29 in Ellicott City Friday evening.
The serious collision occurred on Route 29 north, approaching Route 40 at approximately 6:15 p.m. Three vehicles were involved in the collision, and three people were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Route 29 was closed in both directions between Route 100 and Route 40 during the investigation and cleanup.
Police have not released any further details regarding the crash.
