CHILLICOTHE, OH – A suspicious shooting is under investigation by the Chillicothe Police after a man arrived at Adena with a gunshot wound to his leg early Friday morning. The victim stated that he was shot on Akron Street during an attempted robbery.
Despite providing a description of the assailants, he later refused to give further information to the police.
Investigation into his claims revealed inconsistencies. According to the hospital staff, a woman dropped the victim at the ER and then departed.
The victim had also reportedly mentioned a different location for the shooting. With the victim’s refusal to cooperate, the police have decided to close the case.
