Police Investigating West 179th Street Assault and Robbery

NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Tuesday, July 25, at approximately 11:00 PM, a 52-year-old male was robbed inside a building near Sedgwick Avenue and West 179 Street.

The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the whereabouts of the individuals involved.

Two unknown individuals approached the victim, displaying a firearm, and struck him in the face with the weapon before taking his chain, watch, and an undetermined amount of cash.

They were last seen fleeing northbound on Sedgwick Avenue on foot.

Descriptions of the individuals have been provided, and anyone with information is asked to contact the New York City Police Department.
