Police Make Arrest in the Shooting of Woman in Northeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department has made an arrest in the shooting and attempted murder of a woman that took place on April 27th. This incident happened on the 300 Block of 56th Street in Northeast D.C.

According to detectives, “At approximately 10:20 pm, officers responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.”

23 year-old Richard Price of Southeast, D.C, was arrested on May 9th and charged with Assault with Intent to Kill.
