Police Officers Attacked While Trying to Stop Roadway Brawl in Boston

BOSTON, MA – On Friday, an assault incident unfolded on Washington Street and Talbot Avenue, leading to the arrest of two individuals.

Skyla Malave, 18, and Priscilla Malave, 40, both from Dorchester, face multiple charges following their involvement in a series of altercations.

The incident began with a fight in the middle of the roadway, spotted by an officer on detail duty. While attempting to intervene, the officer was pepper-sprayed by one of the suspects.

When the suspects tried to flee in a vehicle, they were intercepted and arrested after resisting arrest.

Skyla Malave is charged with assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and resisting arrest. Priscilla Malave faces charges of assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.
